World Ski & Snowboard Festival on TV Saturday

The television broadcast of the 2004 Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival continues across Canada on Global TV the next two Saturdays, Dec. 11 and 18.

Three 30-minute shows featuring snowboarding, skiing, music and multimedia presentations from the festival are being shown. The first broadcast was last Saturday. The shows air from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Footage from the World Skiing Invitational, featuring the Salomon Superpipe and the Salomon night-time Big Air events, will be shown Dec. 11.

The final broadcast features the DKNY//JEANS Outdoor Concert Series, the McDonald’s Rail Session as well as the Panasonic Pro Photography Showdown and the Panasonic Filmmaker Showdown events.

The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival will also be broadcast on the Xtreme Sports Network on consecutive Sundays, Dec. 12, 19 and 26, at 12:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. (all times are local).
