The third annual Whistler Film Festival announced a talented lineup of guest panelists, instructors and session moderators this week.
Included in the Adventure & Action Sport Filmmaking panel will be Jack Silberman, director of The Vanishing Tattoo, a feature documentary making its world premiere at the festival, and Dana Brown, director of festival feature documentary Step Into Liquid and son of the legendary Bruce Brown, director of iconic surf film The Endless Summer.
The panel will also feature Christian Begin, of the Kranked mountain bike film series and ski cinematographer Scott Fulmer.
Other panels featured at the festival will deal with analyzing a feature screenplay, defining digital cinematography and identifying those elements contributing to the success of an independent digital feature, and creative production techniques in a dynamic industry.
There will also be a hands-on instructive session on cutting edge editing software program Final Cut Pro 4 by Vancouver instructor and freelance editor Alex MacNeil Richardson.
