Whistler Air has added a deHavilland Otter airplane to its fleet. Specially modified with large windows for scenic tours and a new turbine engine chosen for its reliability and quiet operation, the aircraft can accommodate up to 12 passengers all with window seats. "She climbs like a homesick angel," said pilot Mike Quinn. "The passengers love it because they can see almost a full 360 degrees." The aircraft will be used for tours over the coastal mountains that surround Whistler and also for general charter services to Vancouver and remote locations in the southern Chilcotin.
