When: Dec. 2-Jan. 5 2015
Dave Currie — known corridor-wide as "the fisherman artist who does the dot paintings" — is bringing his collection, Currie Art Works, to the Foyer Gallery this month. His aim is to use layered adjacent circles of colour, which become blended in the viewer's eye, to achieve a greater degree of luminosity and brilliance of colour, creating British Columbia inspired acrylic paintings and prints. In the cases, a perfect collection and example of the art work from 15 participants in the first annual Artisan Holiday Celebration. This variety of wares will be on display for the month of December but don’t miss the exciting sale and celebration event which takes place on Dec. 5 (1-4pm), Dec. 6 (10am-4pm) and Dec. 7 (10am-3pm).
