DWEG – DEAD WHITE EUROPEAN GUYS

The Whistler Children’s Chorus Intermediate and Honour Choirs are presenting DWEG – Dead White European Guys. It’s an evening of serious and no so serious classical choral music on Fri. March 7 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. Admission is free.

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW>>

Experience the "time warp again" at the Rocky Horror Picture Show at MY Place on Wed. March 12 at 8:30 p.m. The event is for everyone 19 years old and over as part of the We Are Whistler Late Night events. Admission is free and props, popcorn and drinks are provided.

Chief Gibby Jacob of the Squamish First Nation is the guest speaker at the breakfast Rotary Club on Tues. March 11 at 7:15 a.m. Chief Jacob will be talking about Building Relationships and Creating Understanding. It’s $15 for breakfast at the Wildwood Bistro on Northlands Blvd. (the tennis club). ON THE MOUNTAINS

BLACKCOMB>>

Blackcomb Mountain is open daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. For $2 ride the rails and be crowned King at the base of the mountain. Sessions go off at 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sat. night. On Sun at 10 a.m. the Atomic Ski Pro Am Halfpipe will take place. It’ll be a jam style comp with prizes.
