CELEBRATION 2010>>

Whistler joins the rest of the province in celebrating Canada’s arts and culture. The festivities begin on Feb. 14 and continue for three weeks.

MEETINGS

PEMBERTON VALLEY TRAILS ASSOCIATION AGM>>

The meeting will be held on Tues. Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Pemberton Community Centre. Memberships are $5 for individuals, $15 for family. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to take 2003 memberships. The 2002 Annual Report will be presented, nine board members will be elected and there will be a discussion of ongoing projects in 2003.

VIDEO-DISCUSSIONS ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RECOVERY>>

Sea to Sky Community Services is hosting video sessions every Monday from Jan. 27 to Feb. 17 from 3-4 p.m. at the Whistler Health Unit, 4380 Lorimer Rd. The topics deal with addiction, its impact on the family and recovery. On Mon. Feb. 10 the topic is ‘Reclaiming your Life’ on co-dependency. For more info please call 604-894-6101.
