Trail walks, outdoor sketching and the breathtaking scenery of Alta Lake form the backdrop for this workshop for the creative adventurer. Using collage and various mixed media techniques, you'll transform an ordinary sketchbook into a document of your outdoor experiences, led by Vancouver multidisciplinary artist Claire Schagerl. Exercises and technical instruction will encourage the development of drawing, illustration and observational skills, with a focus on the connection between creativity and the outdoors.
