The Pemberton Youth Soccer League will be holding registration on Friday, Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Community Centre. Players must be registered to play.
This year Pemberton has joined B.C. Soccer, along with Whistler, and kids in the U11 groups and up will be playing in Squamish. The first games are scheduled for Sept. 17 and the season will run through the end of October.
The age groups will be restructured to meet B.C. Soccer standards, with teams from U7 to U18, boys and girls. In addition to the added competition of Whistler and Squamish teams, joining B.C. Soccer means better insurance, clinics for coaches and referees, and access to many tournaments. Val Fowler is the leagues new administrator and can be reached at email@example.com.
More coaches are needed this year. Each team has one practice and one game every week. Contact Val if youre interested.
