What: BABYTIMES Parents will be taught action rhymes and songs to share with their babies as well as some basic baby sign language. Classes are for parents with babies from birth to walking age and involve focused interaction with the child. Babytimes will run from Oct. 15 to Nov. 5. For more information call 604-932-5564.

What: SECS AGM Geological engineer Frank Baumann is the guest speaker at the annual general meeting of the Squamish Environmental Conservation Society. He will speak about the common hazards that people in the corridor must live with including flooding, debris flows, rock slides, earthquakes and small slope failures. Admission by donation.

What: HALLOWEEN Tapley’s residents are once again gearing up for a Halloween extravaganza. This year in addition to the trick or treating there will be a costume contest. The fireworks will be after trick or treating on the lower field at Myrtle Philip School.
