What: SNOWBOARD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – OPENING CEREMONIES The Community Lantern Parade will go from Village Stroll to the Excalibur Gondola (free access) from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Opening Ceremonies and the Rail Session start at Base II from 4 to 5:45 p.m. Check out for info.

What: CITIZEN KING The Whistler Village Church will celebrate Martin Luther King and his 1963 letter from a Birmingham jail at Sunday’s service.

What: BC LAND CONSERVANCY PRESENTATION The Pemberton Wildlife Association is hosting a presentation by the BC Land Conservancy which will give property owners valuable information about protecting their land in its natural condition.
