What: Christmas Raffle and sale Get homebaking, jams and jellies, as well as hand crafts such as knitting and baby quilts at the craft fair hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary at the Squamish General Hospital.

What: Eagle Watch Volunteer Program. The volunteer interpreter program is gearing up for its 10th season and needs volunteers. An orientation and slideshow on the Bald Eagle will give volunteers more information on the program. Bring a bagged lunch and dress for the weather. Call Amy at 604-932-3234.

Where: Sea to Sky Hotel in Squamish, 8:45 a.m. to noon, moving to the Eagle Viewing Shelter at 1 p.m.

What: GALA FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS It’s the annual evening of dinner, dancing, wine and live music all in the name of raising money for non-profit groups in the Whistler community. Tickets for the festival are now on sale at the Whistler Real Estate Company or Re/Max of Whistler.

What: St. Davids United Annual Christmas Craft Bazaar. The season of craft fairs complete with homebaking has arrived in Pemberton with the St. Davids United Craft Bazaar. Check out the homemade crafts, baking and artwork. Call 604-894-6518 for table rental.

What: Mountaineer’s Soiree. Canadian climbing legend Peter Croft will present a slideshow at the sixth annual Mountaineer’s Soiree. Tickets are $10 from Escape Route or $12 at the door. There will be a beer garden and silent auction.

What: LUNA Get vertical at the next Late & Unique Nighttime Alternatives indoor rock climbing event with instructors from the Great Wall. Tickets are $2/$5 at the Whistler Employment Resource Centre.
