If you missed the Whistler open house, check out the plans for the future site of Whistler Nordic Centre, where the 2010 ski jumping will take place, at the upcoming open houses in Squamish and Pemberton.
The annual low-key locals run in Pemberton will take place on Sat. Oct. 23. Its 12 kms of technical single-track but you can walk it, hike it or run it. Run starts at 10 a.m. Register between 9 and 9:30 a.m. at One Mile lake. Cost is $15. The money raised goes to support the Pemberton Spud Valley Nordics.
