The J.J. Whistler Bear Society hosts "Living with Bears in your Backyard: A residents guide to coexistence" with Sylvia Dolson. This workshop focuses on minimizing backyard attractants, appropriate behaviour when encountering an urban bear and methods for deterring bears from your property.
