Shari Ulrich to sing with youth show choir

Shari Ulrich, the Vancouver-based entertainer, plays MY place with Linda Kidder and Bill Runge next month.

The former San Rafael, CA, native is now based on Bowen Island with her 10-year old daughter. She got her start with a performance in 1973 with the San Francisco Free Theatre, alongside her brother and sister.

Juno-winner Ulrich will be accompanied by the Moving Chords Youth Show Choir, whom she says impressed her with their "incomparable spirits."

She is joined by Linda Kidder on bass and Bill Runge on piano, soporano sax, accordion, and flute.

Previously Ulrich sang with the Pied Pumpkin String Ensemble, UHF and artist Valdy. Ulrich has co-hosted Futurescan with David Suzuki, and wrote for the BCTV award-winning show Inside Trax.
