The second annual Pemberton Trade Fair, sponsored by the Pemberton and District Chamber of Commerce and Pemberton and District Recreation Services, will be held Saturday, April 24. This year’s theme is Circus Circus. The event will take place at the Pemberton Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More than 60 participants including local store front businesses, home-based businesses and non-profit organizations will be participating in Pemberton’s biggest Trade Fair yet. Come and see what Pemberton has to offer. Pick up a trade fair passport at the door, get a stamp at each booth and win a door prize. Admission is free. Local dignitaries and representatives from the Lillooet and Whistler Chambers, including MLA Ted Nebbeling, will take part in the official opening ceremony at 11 a.m. A fashion show will be held at 1 p.m. and there will also be a food fair featuring the culinary delights of local Pemberton restaurants, and 4-H petting zoo for children. Mechanical, financial, health, arts and crafts, cabinetry, gardening, or new products and services available in Pemberton, there will be booths to interest all sorts.
