Headlining acts include Vancouvers Mike Weterings Band, a rootsy collective inspired by Afro Worldbeat rhythms, steel drum ensemble Tropical Heat and members of Roma-Flamenco troupe Los Canasteros.
Confirmed performers representing the local scene are country-blues duo Greasy Jack and Julie, bluegrass band Tragically Hick, East Coast Celtic group Big Root and folksman Archie Pateman.
Familiar local solo artists Leanne Lamour, Glen Mishaw and Rose Ranger will also be performing.
The festival will kick off with hand drumming and dancing by local First Nations groups.
Performers will host festival workshops in banjo picking, fiddle, blues guitar, songwriting, and First Nations drumming.
The festival will also feature food kiosks, artisans market and a childrens activity tent.
The festival takes place Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13 at the towns Pioneer Park and is still actively seeking volunteer staff.
