WHISTLER ANIMALS GALORE   WAG is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to protecting and enhancing the lives of lost, unwanted and homeless animals. Take part in volunteer dog walking every day from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Call 604-935-8364 or stop by the shelter located on Nesters Road by the recycling depot.

WHISTLER BOTTLE DEPOT Fall hours for the Bottle Depot are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12-4 p.m. The recycling depot is located on Nesters Road, next to municipal works yard. Most drinkable containers are now on the deposit-refund system.   Commercial loads accepted by appointment. Call 604-932-3733.

WHISTLER EMPLOYMENT RESOURCE CENTRE Computer and Internet access, job postings and employment resources. Open Mon-Fri. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 604-932-6281 ext. 11. Located in the Chamber office above the Visitor Information Centre.

WHISTLER FISHERIES STEWARDSHIP GROUP The WFSG exists to restore Whistler’s waterways through education, projects, advocacy, and community partnerships. There are volunteer opportunities throughout the summer for water quality sampling, fish monitoring, educational programs and habitat restoration. WHISTLER HOUSING AUTHORITY Provides long-term rental and ownership housing for Whistler residents. All eligible residents can register with the WHA to purchase or rent a resident restricted property. WHISTLER Museum and archives The Whistler Museum is the place to DISCOVER Whistler’s human and natural history, Olympic story and unique mountain life. The Museum offers a variety of programs, events and exhibits for all ages. There is something for everyone. Visit the museum on Main Street, next to the library.
