Foote to entertain Whistler kids WHO: Norman Foote WHERE: Chateau Whistler WHEN: March 13, 6:30 p.m. If you think children’s entertainment has gone the way of the transistor, singer, songwriter and guitar impressario Norman B. Foote could change your mind. On March 13, Foote, his band, and a supporting cast of puppets will be playing a show in the Frontenac Ballroom of the Chateau Whistler, with proceeds going to the Myrtle Philip Primary Music Program. Tickets are $5 in advance at 932-4908, and $6 at the door. The Canadian-born Foote has released five CD’s to date, and has played to young audiences across Canada and the U.S.. He has two Juno nominations, a West Coast Music Award for Best Children’s Recording and two Parents Choice Gold Awards from National Parenting Publications of America.
