Food Bank distribution day changed The Food Bank’s food distribution day for April is April 12, due to Easter falling in the second Monday of the month instead of the first Monday. Coats for Kids Dual Mountain Dry Cleaning is taking its spring and summer break from collecting winter coats and jackets for the Coats for Kids program. It will resume in the fall. The Squamish Public Library is hosting a bird feeder workshop. An entry fee of $15 buys you a birdhouse to decorate, which will be entered into a silent auction to raise money for foyer gallery enhancements. The birdhouses will be on display in the foyer from April 26 to May 29, and a bird feeder will be awarded to the ‘people’s choice’ winner. Dawn Larden offers an adult’s painting workshop on March 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. Anne McCutcheon will demonstrate how to make papier-mache birds and decorate them, March 20 to 27.
