New label, same sound

Monday at Garf's, Benny Benassi

Italy’s Benny Benassi may be busy getting his new label Pump-kin off the ground, but the Milan boy who is as famous for his producing prowess as he is for his turntable sets is returning to Whistler for another one of his sweaty yet smooth shows Monday, Jan. 22 at Garfinkel’s.

Last year, the dirty electro legend debuted his new label aimed at supporting emerging new producers. Look out for his latest compilation Cooking for Pump-kin remixed by the man himself on his new label.

Benassi is still keeping up with his own recording career with singles such as Every Single Day and Make Me Feel from Benassi’s latest Benassi Bros album Phobia getting heavy radio play across the globe.

The Italian’s tracks have graced charts all over Europe and North America: he hung out at number one on the Official Dance Chart in France for over a month and placed in the top five on European Dance Charts. When he isn’t touring the world, you’ll find his monumental DJ sets at bi-monthly residencies at The Gallery at Turnmills in London as well as The Queen and Platinum in Paris.

The first 50 tickets for the Whistler show are $12.
