Manslaughter charges have been laid against three teens in connection to the stabbing death of 19-year-old Luka Gordic in Whistler on May 17.

The accused are 17-year-old males from the Lower Mainland. An 18-year-old man also faces charges.

"This was a situation where a group of young people who knew each other had a dispute which turned deadly," said Sgt. Stephanie Ashton, media spokesperson for the RCMP's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), in a release.

"There are some witnesses who have yet to speak with investigators about the death of Luka Gordic, we ask that those people come forward now and tell us what they know," she added.

The accused will appear in North Vancouver court on Tuesday, May 19.
