Landscape painter Brent Lynch is the latest artist in residence at the Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont.
Lynch has been an artist for 15 years, following a career as an illustrator and designer.
He will be seen at work at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler from Wednesday, Nov. 5 to Sunday, Nov. 9, coinciding with Cornucopia.
Lynch's work is due to be part of a group exhibition at the gallery in January 2015.
The gallery started its residency program at the start of the year, bringing in artists who also show in their Fairmont locations in Banff and Jasper.

Chrzanowski's birthday premiere
Pemberton filmmaker Peter "Peru" Chrzanowski is inviting friends to join him for a birthday screening premiere of his film Paracinderella, his ongoing search around the world for a soul mate who paraglides.
He is also showing his films The North Face and The Spirit.
It takes place at the Brew House Pub on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The entry fee is a $10 donation.
Public Art Forum to unveil sculpture
A new sculpture is being unveiled at a Public Art Forum by the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and the Public Art Committee.
Vancouver artist Oliver Harwood will describe his sculpture Village Ascent. The artwork proposal was selected through the 2014 Valley Trail Public Competition.
The forum is taking place on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Scotia Gallery at Millennium Place.
The sculpture will be installed at the north trailhead of the Fitzsimmons Accessible Nature Trail in early November.
The next Valley Trail Public Art sculpture competition is due for 2016.
WAC names recipients for $2,500 in grants
The Whistler Arts Council (WAC) has announced the recipients of $2,500 in grants from the 2014 Members Group Grants for local arts, culture and heritage groups.
The grants range from $200 to $900 to fund projects taking place in 2015.
This year's recipients include Whistler Pottery Club, Whistler Writers Group, Whistler Valley Quilters Guild, The Point Artists-Run Centre, Whistler Secondary Drama Club and Whistler Waldorf School.
