The Pemberton/Whistler Karate Club is hosting its second annual Karate Summer Camp in Pemberton this Saturday and Sunday.
The last camp held in Pemberton, in 1997, was very successful, and attracted more than 120 karate students from around the province and as far away as the U.S. and Japan.
Participants will practice various styles of karate and take part in classes devoted to other martial arts and related activities, such as yoga and Qu Kung.
The classes take place at Pemberton High School, and visitors are welcome to come out and watch. During the lunch break on Sunday there will be a presentation by the teachers and a demonstration of karate skills.
