Two new workshops are being offered this August by the Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council (SSISC). Best Practice Field Training on August 7 in Squamish is geared to licensed herbicide applicators, and two Invasive Species Identification Workshops on August 14, 2014 in Whistler and Squamish, are geared to the general public and those working or volunteering in the field. The public Squamish workshop will be held at Capilano University, while the Whistler event will be at the Public Works Yard. Best Practice Field training will take place in the field and is open to licensed herbicide applicators, or those interested in obtaining a license. $30. Email email@example.com to register.
