Ruben Östland’s Golden Globe-nominated Force Majeure will hit the screen at Millennium Place for two special screenings to celebrate the launch of the Whistler Arts Council’s new state-of-the-art theatre projector. The film takes a stark look at masculinity, society’s intolerance of male weakness, women’s expectations of men, and takes place a ski resort in the French Alps. First screening is all-ages at 6:30pm. The second 19-plus showing is at 9pm. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $8 for WAC members or children 12 and under.
