• A letter in the May 24 issue of Pique (Accessibility plans need work) stated: “Apparently the Peak to Peak gondola, as planned today, won’t be fully accessible. There will be a step up to each gondola from the platform…”
Whistler-Blackcomb issued the following statement in response:
“Whistler Blackcomb is committed to creating an outstanding mountain experience for all of our guests, including those with disabilities and have taken the needs of guests in wheelchairs into account with the design of the Peak to Peak Gondola. The design has always included a level entrance from the gondola station platform to each gondola.”
• A story in the May 24 issue of Pique about three federal government offices that will now process passport applications had an incorrect address.

Three Lower Mainland Service Canada Centres, in North Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam, are now accepting passport applications, reviewing them for accuracy, collecting fees and forwarding the applications to Passport Canada for review and processing.
