Organizers of a new mini-film festival event to be held at the end of March are calling for submissions.
The First Annual Ski and Snowboard Video Jamboree is being organized by Whistler local Brian Hockenstein of 514 Video Distribution. Its based on a similar festival that takes place annually in Europe. The Jamboree is seeking fun films coming in at around the five-minute mark depicting mountain activity.
"We are hoping that people will use their creativity and imagination a bit and not just hand in five minutes of tricks and music," Hockenstein said.
Deadline for submission is March 15, with a screening event at the end of the month.
For more information call 604-698-2514 or go to www.underexposed.ca and click on the Video Jamboree link.
