Do you know an Ullr girl?
Whistler-Blackcomb wants to know
From California to Montreal to Whistler, and from still in diapers to 30-something, more than 50 women have signed up for Whistler-Blackcomb’s Ullr girl search, launched this week.
A twist on the Scandinavian myth about the well known ski god, Ullr, Whistler-Blackcomb has launched an online search for a girl who best embodies mountain culture and whose passions revolve around snowsports.
Whether amateur or pro, women that curl or carve can enter to win up to $25,000, a six-night trip to Whistler for the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival in April and a mitt full of prizes. If you can’t compete in the pro category, which requires taking part in on snow events, aspiring Ullr girls can compete in the amateur category but must fulfill an arts component.
