The Point opens the door on winter and a rollicking good time on the shores of Alta Lake. Free events for children and adults from noon to 5pm include snow sculpting and ice carving contests, live music, shinny and curling on the lake, a doughnut-eating contest, fireside singalong, live painting, Speakers’ Corner and more. Purchase some hot chili and bannock, or raclette at the outdoor kitchen, and a hot chocolate, mulled wine or cold drink at the ice bar. The ticketed evening show starts at 6pm, featuring premiere Canadian rockabilly and roots band Cousin Harley, Get to The Point Improv Comedy, Winter Monologues and a live art auction.
