Juno award winning band Bedouin Soundclash returns to Whistler Wednesday July 4 th to rock out Garfinkel’s with their distinctive fusion of reggae and rock.
The boys have been making a bold presence in the Canadian music scene since the 2004 release of their album Sounding a Mosaic .
The album featured the infectious single When the Night Feels my Song, which radio stations played on heavy rotation through the summer of 2005.
Soundclash also appeared on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour bill and are enjoying significant chart successes in Great Britain, reaching number one on the BBC 6 Music Charts.
The reggae-influenced trio is made up of Jay Malinowski on vocals and guitar, Eon Sinclair on bass, and Pat Pengelly banging the drums. The boys have been making music together since meeting at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Bedouin Soundclash is currently touring the West Coast in promotion of their third album, Street Gospels , to be released in August on SideOneDummy Records.
The album includes the song “12:59” Lullaby, which debuted on a recent episode of the hit TV series Grey’s Anatomy.
