Victoria Day weekend is always a party in Whistler.
Between the municipality’s Great Outdoors (GO) Festival, its impressive musical lineup and wide variety of activities, Whistler Mountain Bike Park’s opening day and closing day on Blackcomb Mountain, this year was no exception.
Here are some highlights. What was your favourite part of the long weekend?
Last week, I put on a workshop about “How to Pack a Backpack” for GO Fest Whistler. I went through three scenarios: ultralite for running, regular day hiking, and overnight backpacking. In all three scenarios, the packing list is the same: just variations on the 10 essentials, but with different levels of comfort. Ask yourself: if something goes wrong today, am I prepared? On a side note, this has gotta be the coolest little workshop venue! #10essentials #hiking101 #luxurytentlife #gofestwhistler #msa_adventures @msa_adventures
We had a great time at the screening of @the_moment_movie last night (so great we forgot to take photos)! Thanks to everyone who came out and @bretttippie and Bjorn Enga for sharing their stories and answers!
